The city of Budapest is divided in
two parts, the hilly side of Buda to the west and the flat
plain of Pest on the eastern bank of the river Danube. They
were once separate towns but were merged together in 1873.
It has managed to maintain its magic and charm, and is rightly
known as the Queen of the Danube. It has also been called
the City of Spas, as there are a dozen thermal baths complexes
served by over a hundred natural thermal springs.
These are only a few of the the numerous possibilities that
Budapest offers to its tourists. Please visit
